The program operates on the belief that substance abuse treatment services is required for the individual with a history of drug abuse. This treatment must continue to emphasize job orientation and training, improved mental health and emphasis on the avoidance of illicit drug use, and facilitating the transition from drug abusing to productive life. An underlying premise of the program is that services must be provided in such a manner as to maintain the safety, dignity, and privacy of the client while, at the same time, providing safeguards to protect the health and welfare of the providers and the general population. In order to ensure professional quality of services provided, the organization requires that director and counseling staff meet the qualifications set forth by the State of Texas.

Our mission:
To provide substance abuse treatment services to adults addicted to drugs and alcohol without bias as related to culture, ethnicity, age, and gender in Houston and surrounding areas: The services to be provided include all aspects of service delivery including: screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment plans, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral, reporting and record-keeping, and consultations.
